Context Help Toolbar

New toolbar that has contextual help for ColdFusion, VBScript, JScript, and PHP. C# and VB.NET server models are supported with a general help page. Also, buttons are available for Google search, Google UD newsgroup search, and search of Community MX. Works in Dreamweaver MX and Dreamweaver MX 2004. Updated 1/15/2004 to work with CF MX 6.1. Media Types for CSS Switching

The Media Types toolbar button allows you to switch the built-in Dreamweaver rendering mode so that it displays as another media type. For example, if you have a print stylesheet defined on your page, click the toolbar button and change to "Print" and Dreamweaver will now render the page as defined by the print stylesheet. Other types include Handheld, Projection, Screen, TTY. Works in DW MX 2004 only.

Live Preview

New button that adds a browser preview directly in the design window (ala Homesite). This works in ASP, ASP.NET, JSP, and PHP. The ColdFusion model already has this functionality via Server debugging. After installing the extension, the button is located between the design/split/code view buttons and the Live Data View button. Works in Dreamweaver MX and Dreamweaver MX 2004.

This is a PC ONLY extension. The Macintosh does not have built-in browser capability.

OLE DB Connection String

New connection dialog box for creating new connections. By adding this extension, you can create OLE DB connection strings on Windows using built-in Windows utilities. Get All DataSources

This extension is a Data Source extension that allows you to retrieve all Session and Application variables in your site and display them in the Data Bindings panel, for ASP (VBScript and JScript), JSP, PHP, and ColdFusion (UD4 mode and MX mode).

This extension adds Session and Application variables to the ASP.NET server model. Works in Dreamweaver MX and Dreamweaver MX 2004.

This extension adds the MXI Doc Types to the documents supported by Dreamweaver. Very useful for extension developers creating the XML files used to install extension files.

Translated Source Viewer

This is an extension for extension developers. It is especially handy when building your own translators. The extension is a Floater that is accessible from your Window menu. Horizontal Looper ASP and JSP version

Similar to a repeat region, this server behavior will loop your records horizontally and vertically. Works in ASP, JSP, and CF-UD4 (does not work with the new ColdFusion, PHP, or ASP.NET server models.) Works in Dreamweaver MX and Dreamweaver MX 2004. (...more)

PHP Send Email

Allow the user to insert a generic email script into their page that will send an email upon execution of the script. If you apply it to a blank page, the email will be sent upon page load. Send a Text email by specifying a Text Version (file) in the UI. Send an HTML email by specifying an HTML Version (file) in the UI. Specify both versions and the email will be sent as a multipart html email with an alternate text version for text-based email clients.Works in Dreamweaver MX and Dreamweaver MX 2004.

Simulated Nested Region

For ASP, JSP, ColdFusion, and PHP. Nested repeat regions are commonly needed in a Web page that serves dynamic content from a database. There are many ways to program a nested region, from nesting loops to data shaping using ADO. All of them require some pretty complex hand-coding. There is an easier way, however. Insert-Retrieve Autonumber/Identity

For ASP, these two server behaviors are for MS Access and MS SQL Server to retrieve a newly inserted autonumber/identity column from the database. Works in Dreamweaver MX and Dreamweaver MX 2004. (...more)

Insert-Retrieve ID PHP

This server behavior for PHP_MySQL allows you to retrieve the contents of the ID field o a newly inserted record. This server behavior is based on the Insert server behavior of Dreamweaver MX, but allows you to specify a session variable to place the newly created ID column into, AND it will automatically populate the Bindings panel with that session variable so that you can use it on your pages. Works in Dreamweaver MX and Dreamweaver MX 2004.

Sort Repeat Region

This server behavior allows you to sort the contents of a standard repeat region in a table by adding clickable table heading links. Works in Dreamweaver MX and Dreamweaver MX 2004. (...more)
