Ben Forta posted on his blog about the trackback and comment spam that he has been getting. The post is funny, as it contains the correspondance he had with the spammer. Kudos to Ben for the way he handled it. I can relate, as I had to install some filters of my own here and at Community MX. I added the trackback feature not long ago and didn't get any spam for a few months, but the next time I checked I had thousands of spams that had to be deleted. My plan is to set up a spammer hall of fame page, where the spammer link is placed over text like "child molestor", "al qaeda", "terrorist", and other appropriate terms. That should get them some hits, hopefully by the DOJ.
